Trenchless Repair:

How do you fix a damaged sewer line?

If you're looking for an affordable way to fix your sewer line issue, a trench option might be for you. Your plumber will dig up your old line and repair portions of it or replace it. They will then make sure all the proper connections are secured by running a camera through the line. This method involves repairing or replacing the sewer line without extensive digging, using techniques like pipe lining or pipe bursting.

  • Pipe Lining: A resin-coated pipe is inserted into the damaged pipe, inflated, and allowed to harden, effectively creating a new pipe within the old one.

  • Pipe Bursting: The old pipe is broken down and a new, stronger pipe is pulled through the existing trench.

  • Traditional Trench Repair:

This involves digging up the sewer line to access and repair or replace it.

Avoid flushing items that can clog the sewer line, such as grease, wipes, and excessive amounts of paper. If you have trees near your sewer line, take steps to prevent tree roots from entering the pipes.

Our plumbers are experts at sewer line repair and replacement, and we can answer the call quickly and efficiently when your sewer line is compromised.

Can you fix a clogged sewer line yourself?

You can tackle a clogged sewer line using other strategies if you don't have a snake on hand. First, you can run hot water down the drain for 5 to 10 minutes to see if that helps break up the clog. If it doesn't, pour equal parts of vinegar and baking soda into a bowl and then pour that mixture down the drain.
